Activities on our final morning include fencing, climbing, abseiling and aeroball. We will then have lunch before planned departure at 2pm. ETA 4pm - we will update the school office with any changes.

Climbing

Survival

First they were afraid
They were petrified,
Didn't think they would survive without us by their side
But they learnt to light a fire,
Whittle wood
And build a tent
THEY WILL SURVIVE

Hanging around ...

A brighter morning!

All the children slept very well last night, and missed the mini-typhoon battering the rooms at 3am. Waking them up is getting trickier and trickier as the week progresses!

The children have enjoyed a breakfast of sausages, scrambled eggs & spaghetti washed down with lots of toast. Today's activities include trapeze, giant swing, survivor, climbing and aeroball.

It's great to read so many comments on the blog. While we will endeavour to include as many children in photos as we can, we are restricted by time and access to wifi. There is only one location on site with wifi, and as it is an adults only zone we are extremely limited in the time we can spend in it. Our first priority is caring for the children. Photos are being taken of all children, and will be shown at the presentation to parents on Friday 24th at 2.30 in the school hall.

Perfect weather for the beach!

More mud!

As requested - Fred smiling!

The final 2 groups have now completed the sensory trail, so the muddy clothes
lines have been refilled.
Other activities this morning have included trapeze, problem solving and giant swing.

The children are enjoying hearing about your comments, and were pleased that their adventures are being followed back at school.

This afternoon we will be burning off the lunchtime pasta with a beach walk and more ropes activities (giant swing, Jacobs ladder, zip wire...) before a campfire tonight.

Washing machines at the ready :)

Action packed morning

A good sleep...

...was had by all last night. Most dorms had to be woken at 7.15 this morning, and there were a few bleary eyes as we headed off for a delicious breakfast of bacon, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, cereals and lots of toast (current record is 7 slices in addition to a cooked breakfast!).

Activities today include trapeze, problem solving and zip wire. All groups will be going on a beach walk this afternoon, although I don't think there will be any sunbathing :(

Group photo

As it was such a beautiful evening we thought you might enjoy a group photo. Dragon boating was enjoyed by all and no one got too wet !

Birthday celebrations

Ben has had a very exciting birthday. All the children have enjoyed the delicious chocolate brownies. Thank you Mrs Radage!

Who is who?

Fun packed morning

We have had a busy morning, with activities including zip wire, fencing and abseiling. 3 groups have done sensory trail this morning - washing machines will be busy on Friday! Now heading for a yummy lunch of soup, salad and baguettes before setting off for the national sailing centre in Weymouth where we will be dragon boating.

Good morning :)

All of the children had a good night and are looking forward to the day ahead.
There are lots of empty plates after a breakfast of sausages, beans, omelettes and hash browns along with toast and cereals.

The rain has finally stopped and the morning activities include sensory trail, zip wire and abseiling.
Look out for some action photos later :)

Arrived safely

We have arrived safely at a rather damp Osmington Bay. The children all enjoyed the amazing play trail at Moors Valley, with the waterproof trousers having the first of what looks likely to be several outings! As you can see, the rain did not dampen the children's enthusiasm.
